With millions of views and thousands of subscribers on webcomic platforms, BREAKS is perfect for fans of popular LGBTQ+ graphic novels, such as Alice Osman's HEARTSTOPPER, who might be looking for something darker and more mature.

And Alex is guarding a secret that might change his friendships forever.

Gaytheist (NEW)

Coming Out of My Orthodox Childhood

Kartoniert, 15 x 22 cm, 260 Seiten, vollfarbig, in englischer Sprache, 26,95 EUR

Softcover, 6 x 8,5“, 260 pages, full color, 26,95 EUR

A coming-of-age graphic novel memoir about a young man who, growing up in an Orthodox Jewish community, realizes he's gay and struggles to reconcile his faith with who he is.

Lonnie's Orthodox Jewish community has always been clear: it's not okay to be gay. Growing up in a devout family and going to school at a yeshiva, he's told by his parents, his teachers, and his friends that being gay is a sin and an abomination. But as he gets older, he realizes that he likes boys, and wonders what kind of life he will be able to live. As Lonnie expands his world beyond the yeshiva to theater camp, college classes, and movie nights, he sees that the life he wants isn't compatible with the life of his parents — and his whole religious community.

This emotional graphic novel explores the fissures between identity and religion and charts Lonnie's journey from a kid who loved the rules of the Orthodox Jewish tradition to becoming increasingly independent and defiant, embracing his gay identity and developing his own chosen family.

“Tokyo-based couple Mann and Gatts integrate their illustrative and authorial talents in this debut graphic memoir vividly detailing Mann's coming-of-age while cloaking his burgeoning homosexual feelings.” - Kirkus Reviews

Who is Tian Fushi? A misunderstood manga artist, a depraved citizen of Chinese pornography, a young gay man gone astray in an ultraviolent world, a lost boy out of Peter Pan's Neverland? How will he put the fragments of himself together and discover who he really is? Queer: differing in some way from what is usual or normal; this is definitely the case with this graphic novel. A portrait of a Chinese youth in search of love and meaning. An intimate and striking modern quest for identity.

Alice in Leatherland

Kartoniert, 17 x 26 cm, vollfarbig, 144 Seiten, in englischer Sprache, 18,95 EUR

Softcover, 6,5 x 10", full color, 144 pages, 18,95 EUR

Alice, a young writer of children's story books, is hurtled out of her fairytale-like life when she discovers her girlfriend has been cheating on her! Charmingly defiant, she leaves her small forest town and leaps into a new adventure to seek love (and find herself) in the fast life of San Francisco. There, her concept of pure, magical love will be completely overturned--but her biggest challenge won't be reckoning with other people's sexual drive, it'll be getting a grip on her own!

From your new favorite writer and artist team of Iolanda Zanfardino and Elisa Romboli, ALICE IN LEATHERLAND is a comedy about sex and so, inevitably, about every other aspect of life, too. As Iolanda and Elisa describe the book: "Sex is recounted as a way to investigate our relationship with ourselves and others, with our bodies and our place in the world; sexual pleasure as self-affirmation and growth. There is room for Love, too, and bravery. And for many good laughs, that never hurts."

“This romantic comedy, written by Iolanda Zanfardino and Elisa Romboli, who are a couple, is most assuredly for adults: The story depicts — sometimes with little left to the imagination — the ups and downs of casual sex.” - The New York Times

In this charming and full-color LGBT+ graphic novel first released as a webcomic, a fairy godfather and a beast man raise a human baby together.

A human child abandoned in the woods is discovered by an unlikely pair: Razzmatazz, a fairy godfather, and Bon, a beast man. After quarreling over the best way to handle the child, they finally agree to co-parent in the human world--for now, at least. What the two men don't expect is this little arrangement will push them to discover more about themselves... and more about each other, which might result in love. In this charming LGBT+ romcom, one "temporary" magical family might just become real!

His best friend, Maria, however, wants nothing more than to stay in the desert, and Jake's mother encourages him to always play it safe.

There's nothing "safe" about Jake's future--not when he's attracted to Kenny Liu, swim team captain and rebel against conformity. And certainly not when he secretly applies to the University of Miami. Jake's life begins to outpace his small town's namesake, which doesn't make it any easier to come out to his mom, or Maria, or the world.

But Jake is full of secrets, including the strange blue markings on his skin that glow when in contact with water. What power will he find when he searches for his identity, and will he turn his back to the current or dive headfirst into the waves?

Two voices that shaped LGBTQ Young Adult literature & comics, Lambda Award-Winning author Alex Sanchez (RAINBOW BOYS) and New York Times bestselling illustrator Julie Maroh (BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR), present a new coming-out romance and origin story for DCs teen superhero Aqualad.

Stuck Rubber Baby

25th Anniversary Edition

Gebunden, 26 x 19,5 cm, 234 Seiten, s/w, in englischer Sprache, 24,99 EUR

Hardcover, 10 x 7,5", 234 pages, b&w, 24,99 EUR

Set in Alabama in the 1960s, STUCK RUBBER BABY tells the story of Toland Polk, a young man who is deeply in the closet and hell-bent on "fixing" his homosexuality. Toland is not prone to making waves, but he finds himself drawn to a lively group of civil rights activists. With his new friends, he starts frequenting sit-ins and gay bars. This raises the ire of local bigots and quite literally brings the Klan to his doorstep.

This painstakingly researched and exquisitely illustrated graphic novel draws on Howard Cruse's (1944 – 2019) experience as a young gay man in 1960s Birmingham, Alabama. Just in time for its twenty-fifth anniversary, this deeply personal and epic in scope, rich and moving tale of identity and resistance is back in print – complete with an updated introduction from Alison Bechel, rare photographs, and previously unpublished archival material that give a thorough, behind-the-scenes look at this graphic novel masterpiece.

Paperback, 6 x 9“, 256 pages, full color, 22,00 EUR

A child who feels like an outsider in a world that’s set against him. A boy who sings on the playground instead of playing soccer, who likes Barbies, and whose secretly favorite car is the one called Tutti Frutti. Gabriel Ebensperger shares with us his struggles with his own inadequacy, his feelings of guilt, and above all, his fear that his “difference” will be discovered.

The vibrant bright pink pages of Gay Giant paint a picture of what it was like to grow up being gay in the ’90s, through the voice of an endearing character, who on the way to becoming an adult realizes that the rejection of the world is never over, and that true acceptance comes from within yourself.

The Times I Knew I Was Gay

Gebunden, 14 x 21 cm, 320 Seiten, s/w, in englischer Sprache, 25,00 EUR

Hardcover, 6 x 8“, 320 pages, b&w, 25,00 EUR

Ellie always had questions about who she was and how she fit in. As a girl, she wore black, obsessed over Willow in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, and found dating boys much more confusing than many of her friends did. As she grew older, so did her fears and a deep sense of unbelonging. From her first communion to her first girlfriend via a swathe of self-denial, awkward encounters, and everyday courage, Ellie tells her story through gorgeous illustrations -

a fresh and funny self-portrait of a young woman becoming herself.

THE TIMES I KNEW I WAS GAY reminds us that people sometimes come out not just once but again and again; that identity is not necessarily about falling in love with others, but about coming to terms with oneself. Full of vitality and humor, it will ring true for anyone who has taken the time to discover who they truly are.

Eleanor Crewes is a London-based illustrator, author, and graphic artist who graduated from University of the Arts in London in 2016. Her debut graphic memoir THE TIMES I KNEW I WAS GAY originated as a self-published zine in 2017. It eventually became a small book, published by Good Comics and exhibited at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, Thought Bubble, Brighton Illustration Fair, and The Lakes International Comic Arts Festival. This new and expanded version represents her American debut.

An erotic graphic novel created by and for women, „Yes, Roya“ is a period piece set in 1963 California. It features a three-way femdom relationship between one woman and two men. Written with humor and humanity, and drawn with effervescent charm, this is a BDSM story that skips the leather-and-chains pageantry often expected of such kinks, and focuses instead on the true bonds between the three partners.

„Yes, Roya“ has already garnered enthusiastic praise and great reviews, including the greatest compliment a fetish book can receive: "I didn't know I was into this kind of thing, but I am now!"

It's Robin Hood like you've never seen him before, based on scholarly and historical speculation about what's really behind the outlaw's legend.

13th century England. Robert Godwinson, former lover of King Richard, lives with his band of Merry Men in Sherwood Forest, away from the watchful eye of Prince John, who has outlawed homosexuality. Though isolated, the men live in peace—that is, until a stranger enters their camp seeking aid for a nearby town besieged by the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robert - nicknamed Robin - is reluctant to help, but equally eager to get rid of this perplexing stranger... and to put his formidable bow-and-arrow to use. It's Robin Hood like you've never seen him before, based on scholarly speculation about what's really behind the outlaw's legend.

"MERRY MEN deftly weaves queer themes into Robin Hood's counterculture mythos, creating a very sexy and relevant take on the hero we all grew up with." - Ed Luce (WUVABLE OAF)

A story of love and demons, family and witchcraft. Nova Huang knows more about magic than your average teen witch. She works at her grandmothers’ bookshop, where she helps them loan out spell books and investigate any supernatural occurrences in their New England town. One fateful night, she follows reports of a white wolf into the woods, and she comes across the unexpected: her childhood crush, Tam Lang, battling a horse demon in the woods. As a werewolf,

Tam has been wandering from place to place for years, unable to call any townhome. Pursued by dark forces eager to claim the magic of wolves and out of options, Tam turns to Nova for help. Their latent feelings are rekindled against the backdrop of witchcraft, untested magic, occult rituals, and family ties both new and old in this enchanting tale of self-discovery.

“MOONCAKES is spellbinding. It had everything I love in a story—magic that felt inventive, characters that became my friends, and a romance that felt truly authentic. It was one of those books that I was sad to see end. Luckily, I can always reread.” — Tillie Walden (SPINNING and ON A SUNBEAM)

In 1991, long before the release of the film BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, two gay cowboys appeared in comic strips of Brazilian newspapers. Rocky and Hudson were the first to show that not everything in the Wild West was gunfights, saloons, and high jinks on trusty steeds—there was room for poetry, flowers, parties, and romance. Illustrated in a style reminiscent of underground cartoonists of the 1960s, this book is a collection of the madcap comic strips that turned the familiar trope of the Old West on its ear.

In 2014, Maia Kobabe, who uses e/em/eir pronouns, thought that a comic of reading statistics would be the last autobiographical comic e would ever write. At the time, it was the only thing e felt comfortable with strangers knowing about em. Now, „Gender Queer“ is here. Maia's intensely cathartic autobiography charts eir journey of self-identity, which includes the mortification and confusion of adolescent crushes, grappling with how to come out to family and society, bonding with friends over erotic gay fanfiction, and facing the trauma and fundamental violation of pap smears. Started as a way to explain to eir family what it means to be nonbinary and asexual,

GENDER QUEER is more than a personal story: it is a useful and touching guide on gender identity—what it means and how to think about it—for advocates, friends, and humans everywhere.

After three years in Milan, Matteo returns home to the provincial country town where he was born and from which he had fled. Coming out as a young gay man in a provincial country town had led to ugly clashes with his conservative father, and the urban metropolis of Milan had been a welcome change from the stifling small town life of his childhood and the anger and bewilderment of some members of his family. But now, Matteo finds himself with little choice but to return home, with no money, no job, and an uncertain future, like so many other young people of his millennial generation. Afraid of encountering his estranged father, he instead takes refuge with his extended family, at a house shared by his grandmother, three aunts, and his very pregnant cousin. As he tries to rebuild his life, reconnecting with the women of his family and old hometown friends, he warily confronts a few truths about the other generations of his family - from their bigotry to their love, and tolerance, and acceptance - and a few truths about himself, including his fears of confrontation and commitment.

WUVABLE OAF is the first-ever collection of the acclaimed self-published comic book series by cartoonist Ed Luce. Oaf is a large, hirsute, scary-looking ex-wrestler who lives in San Francisco with his adorable kitties and listens to a lot of Morrissey. The book follows Oaf’s search for love in the big city, especially his pursuit of Eiffel, the lead singer of the black metal/queercore/ progressive disco grindcore band Ejaculoid. Luce weaves between the friends, associates, enemies, ex-lovers and pasts of both men into the story of their courtship. A romantic comedy at its core, Wuvable Oaf recalls elements of comics as diverse as SCOTT PILGRIM, LOVE AND ROCKETS, and ARCHIE, set against the background of San Francisco’s queer community and music scene.

Egal! Lendenenergie trachtet. Storytechnisch etwas wirr, dafür zeichnerisch ziemlich geil!

They say heroes are born, not made. That isn t the case with BYRON DURAND. For him, it was a little of both. As the heroic SPACE CADET, Byron was born with an unwavering sense of justice and a profound need to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. Through scientific advances, EMIL DURAND, Byron´s father has made him into a powerful super-human, capable of harnessing cosmic radiation and transforming it into incredible energy. Now Byron uses all the power at his disposal to keep his beloved Gateway City safe from evil. But that is a mandate that often leads our young hero into a number of perilous situations.

Since his first appearance in "The Incredibly Hung Naked Justice" #2 in 2004, SPACE CADET has been beloved by Class Comics fans. His exploits and adventures have aroused the imagination of his many readers, and now every single SPACE CADET story created by Class Comics is available for the first time ever in one collected volume. From his earliest battle with JACK THE STRIPPER, to his hook-up with the intrepid MAKO FINN, to his intensely sexual encounter with the alien entity called VOID, to the eve of his transformation into the all-new NAKED JUSTICE, SPACE CADET s wildest exploits are all here for you to discover or rediscover for the very first time ever.

Featuring stories written and illustrated by Patrick Fillion, SPACE CADET: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION also features breathtaking artwork by other Class Comics artists such as David Cantero, Bob Grey, Leon de Leon, Anthony Gonzales and Bryce Peters, along with colors by Nimbus and Hernán Cabrera to name just a few.

Brimming with insanely hot sex, out-of-this-world heroics, compelling stories and beautiful artwork, SPACE CADET perfectly merges the classic superhero genre with the trouser-tenting thrill of modern Gay Adult Comics.

It’s hard being someone’s Mister Right when for a hundred pounds an hour, you’re anyone’s Mister Right Now!

Young ex-art student Eddie has abandoned his course, his family, his lover and his friends to follow a male escort into a world of sex, drugs and unrequited love. Now that he is beginning a tentative romance with an old friend, he will have to face the challenge of being honest about what he’s doing in the weird hours he works; and the lengths he’s willing to go to try to please everyone around him.

This is an intelligent and surprisingly romantic coming-of-age story that deals with gay culture, sex workers, art and just trying to make love work. Developed from original interviews with sex workers, Howard Hardiman gives a genuine voice to the anxieties and concerns of those in the trade.

LIFE IN THE TIME OF COVID-19

Covid-19 has hit Japan, and Asuka is struggling. Can they find a way to stave off the loneliness, while also dealing with their fear of getting sick?

Asuka is neither a woman nor a man - they're X-gender (a non-binary identity) - and they've realized they like women! Okay, now what? Adult films are fun to watch, but real sex is less appealing. Would having a penis make that better or worse? Periods already suck, and sex means more fluids from more people!

This autobiographical manga follows Asuka's feelings about their body, their relationships, and the fun (and sometimes terrible) experience of having an awakening in their thirties.

Mama Tomoko keeps her sons happy and healthy while her husband's away, and eldest son Hiroki, for his part, jokes and dissembles his way around the not-so-little "secret" of his sexuality while figuring things out for himself.

But even though Hiroki's got his mom and kid brother in his corner for his personal journey, his dad is another story. There's no doubt that Akiyoshi Aoyama loves his son, but he's oblivious to the high schooler's struggles and hasn't grasped how hurtful his casually wielded assumptions and stereotypes can be. Will love be enough to see father and son through?

And now Hiroki might have another secret to keep! Lately he's been coming home from school talking enthusiastically about a certain boy, his classmate Daigo! Supportive Tomoko has an inkling Hiroki might be gay, but she's going to let him figure it out for himself. Unfortunately, Hiroki has little talent for keeping his "secret," so he might die of embarassment before all is said and done!

Cartoonist Meredith McClaren (HINGES) tells five short, sexy stories featuring superheroes, supervillains, sidekicks, and the people who love them. Showing consent and character-driven erotic relationships, SUPER FUN SEXY TIMES answers the age-old question: what happens when the mask comes off?

Two sidekicks on opposite sides get stuck in an underground lab together, and find a great way to pass the time. A tactician and superhero discuss their desires, limits, and kinks before their first time, and perhaps get a little too excited in the process. A pair of supervillains explore gender and sex together, while growing closer in their relationship. Lesbian heroes try out a kinky rolepaying scenario, and discover how to make it work for both of them. And an exhausted

assassin relaxes after a long day with the kind (yet firm) attentions of his husband.

Told with care, sex-positivity, and humor, and featuring a wide variety of sexualities and bodies, SUPER FUN SEXY TIMES aims to create an erotic reading experience that lives up to its name!

    GENDER - A Graphic Guide

    Kartoniert, 17 x 24 cm, 184 Seiten, s/w, in englischer Sprache, 14,95 EUR

    Paperback, 7 x 10“, 176 pages, b&w, 14,95 EUR

Join the creators of „Queer: A Graphic History“ on an illustrated journey of gender exploration.

We’ll look at how gender has been ‘done’ differently – from patriarchal societies to trans communities – and how it has been viewed differently – from biological arguments for sex difference to cultural arguments about received gender norms. We’ll dive into complex and shifting ideas about masculinity and femininity, look at non-binary, trans and fluid genders, and examine the intersection of experiences of gender with people’s race, sexuality, class, disability and more.

Tackling current debates and tensions, which can divide communities and even cost lives, we’ll look to the past and the future to ask how might we approach gender differently, in more socially constructive, caring ways.

    QUEER - A Graphic History

    Kartoniert, 17 x 24 cm, 184 Seiten, s/w, in englischer Sprache, 16,80 EUR

    Paperback, 7 x 10“, 176 pages, b&w, 14,95 EUR

Activist-academic Meg-John Barker and cartoonist Jules Scheele illuminate the histories of queer thought and LGBTQ+ action in this groundbreaking non-fiction graphic novel.

From identity politics and gender roles to privilege and exclusion, Queer explores how we came to view sex, gender and sexuality in the ways that we do; how these ideas get tangled up with our culture and our understanding of biology, psychology and sexology; and how these views have been disputed and challenged.

Along the way we look at key landmarks which shift our perspective of what’s ‘normal’ – Alfred Kinsey’s view of sexuality as a spectrum, Judith Butler’s view of gendered behaviour as a performance, the play Wicked, or moments in Casino Royale when we’re invited to view James Bond with the kind of desiring gaze usually directed at female bodies in mainstream media.

Presented in a brilliantly engaging and witty style, this is a unique portrait of the universe of queer thinking.
